The BODiBEAT is a combination music (eg, MP3) player and heart rate monitor that synchronizes the songs played to the movement of your workout.

You load your songs into BODiBEAT via PC, similar to other portable music players. BODiBEAT selects and plays songs with beats per minute that match the steps per minute of the user's workout. This unique song/ workout synchronization technology detects impact so it functions during activities such as running, walking, and dancing, but not bicycling. However, BODiBEAT does function as a normal portable music player/ heart rate monitor for non-impact activities. In addition, BODiBEAT has the typical music and workout management features of a high-end music player, heart rate monitor, and fitness device.
